  1. Have a great event – sorry I will not be able to join you (will be getting ready for the International Ceramics Festival in Wales in June where I will be demonstrating building & firing my new ‘clay kiln’).

Hi! What does it cost once I get there? What sort of accomodation is available? Is it aimed at “artists” and “professionsals”, or anyone interested in pottery/ceramics? Thanks, Tania

    • Hi Tania,
Costs once you get to Gulgong and in addition to registration fee (dependent on days of attendance) are whatever costs you would incur for food and accommodation. Food can be purchased at local cafes and pubs. If you stay in the dormitory you can cook your own meals from food you purchase at the supermarket or bring with you. Please refer to the accommodation page of the website for all details we have at hand at present. Be aware most accommodation is already fully booked except for the Red Hill dormitories. Contact us via email if you wish to book a space. There are many miners in town at present and there may be more rooms available (at venues like the town’s many pubs) at the time IF they vacate prior to the Clay Push event. Mudgee is a nearby town but you would need a car to drive back anfd forth each day. All are welcomed at the event – beginners, experienced, teachers, anyone interested in ceramics is catered for. Please read the web pages to acquaint yourself with the Master Artists who are featured. There will be talks, presentations, hands-on activities, exhibitions and lots more. Please call me on 0468 496 720 or email gulgong2013@gmail.com if you have further questions. Cheers,
      Vicki Grima

  3. Thank you Brigitte, but we have found an assistant with good mould making skills.
    Regards,
